If all you want on this special day is to sit back, relax and laugh with your loved one then the New Vic Theatre have got you covered. This February the theatre adaptation of Amanda Whittington’s much loved book ‘Ladies Down Under’ is gracing the New Vic stage. Immerse yourself this heart-warming tale of four women from Hull and navigate life, love and friendship with them. This hilarious play is full of sunshine and laughter, and the perfect play to brighten up your Valentine’s Day.
If we’ve captured your attention with the idea of a theatre Valentine’s date night, it will be worth delaying your celebrations until the 19th of February and heading to the Regent Theatre to see the global phenomenon, Jesus Christ Superstar. Blessing the city of Stoke for only one week, this showstopping musical with score written by the legendary Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice is definitely worth waiting for. Running from the 19th – 24th of February, this one is a must see!
