A dazzling installation of Wizarding World Wands will tour four UK locations including Stoke-on-Trent in celebration of the release of Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, in cinemas on 8 April 2022.

Installation consists of nine 15ft-tall wands representing nine beloved characters from Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films.

From 2 March to 8 April the wands will tour Hull, Birmingham, Stoke-on-Trent and Reading, being displayed in each location for seven magical days

The stunning Wizarding World Wand installation is set to visit Stoke-on-Trent, as well as three other locations in the UK this Spring, to celebrate the release of Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, in cinemas on 8 April 2022.

The four chosen cities - Hull, Birmingham, Stoke-on-Trent and Reading - were voted for by the public and will each host the exciting installation for seven days.

Hull, which received the most public votes, will launch the tour, followed by Birmingham, Stoke-on-Trent and ending in Reading. The full dates and locations are: 

  • Hull, Queen Victoria Square - 2 - 8 March 
  • Birmingham, the Bullring - 11 - 17 March 
  • Stoke-on-Trent, Smithfield - 21 - 27 March 
  • Reading, The Oracle Shopping Centre - 30 March - 5 April

 
Standing 15 feet tall and set within concrete bases, the nine wands – bringing to life those belonging to some of the favourite characters in the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films – will illuminate each evening, performing a light show to the thrilling music from the Fantastic Beasts and Harry Potter films.
