Appetite and friends at the Brampton Museum cordially invite you to a day of medieval entertainment and fantastical fun at Celebrate Newcastle on Saturday 3 June. Get ready for magical storytelling adventures, dressing up, activities, knights and jesters, dancing ... the list goes on.

Entry and activities are FREE! Here's what to expect:

Go on a magical adventure with the storyteller, brewing potions, defeating mythical creatures, and saving the village.

Our time travelling surgeon, will be happy to treat your aches, pestilence and battle injuries using all the latest medieval techniques.

Want to know what the #OOTD was in 1173? Let the medieval tailor get you dressed and Insta ready the old-fashioned way.

Will Sir Aurelious Jones will chose you to be the hero that masters three tests, tame the fearsome dragon and become a true knight?

Sir Lance-A-Bit and Sir Bob, the stilt walking knights, will be there to rescue fair dragons and battle fiery maidens ... Wait, no, that's not quite right …

Quip the Jester performs a bizarre brand of courtly chaos with his not-so-medieval monocycle and mischievous juggling foolery.

Ever wondered how people moved before they moved like Jagger? Come see the medieval dancers perform and join in the fun!
