Josiah & Co Presents: A Glass Making Workshop with Glassy Ladies

Unleash your creative flare under the guidance of skilled artisans "The Glassy Ladies" and learn the captivating art of glass fusing. You will learn how to cut glass, then plan a design for your chosen shape a curve, a wave, a picture or a hanging ornament.

Once completed your creations will be taken away to be fired in a kiln & returned 7-10 days later,

The workshop will begin at 11 am for approximately 3 hours.

About the Artist
In 2014 after retirement, Judy, Linda & Wendy decided to pursue a new hobby in glass fusing after attending a training course at Newcastle College. A year later Judy purchased a kiln and created a workshop in the garage and the threesome partakes in weekly catch-ups of coffee, glass making a chatting.

Over the years after family and friends had been given glass as gifts they decided to do some craft fairs and charity fundraising events as an an outlet for the items they were making.

For the last couple of years, they have been running Glass Fusing classes hoping to get some interest in this very addictive hobby.
