School holidays in Stoke-on-Trent
So half term is here and you're wondering what to do with the kids? Well, here are some great ideas of where to visit, and what to see and do in Stoke-on-Trent to make some treasured memories over the school holiday...
Let them go potty…
Let your kids' creative juices flow this half-term by creating their very own ceramic masterpiece with the many hands-on opportunities available at the World of Wedgwood, Emma Bridgewater, Royal Stafford and Gladstone Pottery Museum. From throwing a pot to hand painting your own dinner service there is something for all ages to enjoy.
Hey, hey, we are the Monkeys!
Visit Trentham Monkey Forest where you'll find 140 playful Barbary macaques who are roaming free in 60 acres of beautiful English forest! During half term there will also be some fantastic halloween activities in the Deadly Dungeon including fancy dress, colouring, games and face painting.
Find the Fairies
Everyone knows that fairies live at the bottom of gardens and Trentham Gardens is no different. Keep your eyes peeled as you walk around the beautiful mile-long lake, and through the woodland, maze and gardens where the Fairies at Trentham live. Each fairy is different, some are bold and will want to shake your hand, others are shy and are harder to spot high up in the trees. Can you find them all?
Trentham will also have some spooky halloween activities taking place including a Halloween Trail and pumpkin carving!
