Trentham Gardens has all you need for a fun packed Valentine’s weekend. Take your loved one for a hand-in-hand walk around Trentham Gardens for free on Sunday 12th February. Trentham may not have cupid but they do have 15 fairies who call Trentham Gardens their home. The fairies are happy to pose for photos with happy couples, around the mile-long lake, and award-winning gardens.

On Friday 10 February the Mow Cop Players will take you back in time to meet the King Charles II favourite mistress Nell Gwyn and other courtiers for a night of romance, intrigue and murder. Join costume historian and dressmaker Meridith Towne on Sunday 19 February for a lively presentation as she explores the fascinating life of Nell Gwyn, Charles II’s favourite, and most famous, mistress. On Saturday 11th February, Gladstone Pottery Museum are running a Bone China Flower making Workshop where visitors can find out more from expert flower makers and make their own blooms to take home. The museum is the only place you can see bone china flowers being made and the skilled flower makers working at Gladstone spent decades working in the industry.
The course costs £12 which includes museum admission and lasts an hour and a half, beginning at 11am.
