The Staffordshire Hoard will be exhibited at the Potteries Museum & Art Gallery, Stoke-on-Trent from 13 February until 7th March 2010. The Staffordshire Hoard is officially the most valuable treasure ever found. A Staffordshire Hoard book is available to buy from the Tourist Information Centre at £4.99.

The City of Stoke-on-Trent is perhaps best known for being the home of the pottery industry and if pottery is your passion then you will not be disappointed with the visitor centres, ceramic museums, factory tours and factory shops from the world renowned brands such as Wedgwood, Royal Doulton, Portmeirion, Moorcroft, Emma Bridgewater and Aynsley to name just a few. There are at least 30 attractions based here in the City.

If, however ceramics is not your bag then you will be pleased to know that we have plenty more to offer. Our leisure and entertainment facilities are well worth a visit from gardens like the 800 acre Trentham Estate, a Monkey Forest, Waterworld, Alton Towers or theatres. So whether you want a family holiday or a short city break we will not disappoint. The Staffordshire Hoard exhibition in February is sure to provide interest for everyone.
