Royal Commemorative Ware

Stoke-on-Trent will be one of the jewels in the run up to the Royal baby's birth in July 2013. Aynsley, Portmeirion, Emma Bridgewater and Moorcroft are just some of the famous names where you will be able to buy souvenirs and collectables celebrating the birth of the royal baby. You can even go on a factory tour to see these items being made. The Royal Wedding and Diamond Jubilee events over the last couple of years have shown  just how popular commemorative ware still is. The official fine china chosen by Her Majesty the Queen for the Royal Collection were also based in Stoke-on-Trent.

Staffordshire HoardThe jewellers who made the Duchess of Cambridge's wedding ring, have given more than £50,000 to keep the newly found Staffordshire Hoard items together. Wartski donated £57,395 to purchase the 81 additional pieces of Anglo-Saxon treasure found last November.
BurleighBurleigh Burleigh at Middleport pottery have a factory tour showing traditional methods of production.
