The British Ceramics Biennial

The spotlight will once again fall on Stoke-on-Trent and The Potteries this autumn, during the 2013 British Ceramics Biennial which is this year scheduled to run from 28th September to 10th November 2013.

Back for a thrid time, Stoke-on-Trent's British Ceramics Biennial will present work from the UK's leading contemporary ceramic artists in a series of new exhibitions and special events across the city which now boasts the title World Capital of Ceramics.

The opening weekend, for example, kicks off with the BCB Weekender - Family Activities in the original Spode Factory in Stoke-on-Trent from 1pm to 4pm. This creative event will give families the chance to help an artist work on a weekend long art project. Free, fun and easy its also the kind of event where you are expected to get messy!
