Wedgwood Afternoon Tea

Wedgwood Afternoon Tea

Details

As the trend for tea drinking took off in 18th Century, Josiah Wedgwood recognised an opportunity to develop tea ware collections. These proved highly successful amongst royalty and aristocracy, including the Duke and Duchess of Bedford who are celebrated as having established the tradition of afternoon tea as a delightfully English institution.

The Wedgwood Tea room offers a contemporary and indulgent interpretation of afternoon tea, including a delicious selection of sweet and savoury dishes. Visitors to the Wedgwood Tea Room will be spoilt for choice with over fifty of Wedgwood’s finest teas to choose from, served in the finest Wedgwood china of course.
