Stoke town centre houses the Kings Hall which hosts regular Northern Soul All-Nighters and was also used as a film location for the Northern Soul based film 'Soulboy'. Along side it's musical roots Stoke-Town Centre is most famous for its pottery history. Currently home to Portmeirion's HQ and a large factory shop where you can buy pottery at greatly reduced prices.
Stoke Minster is a beautiful peice of architecture within the town centre and contains orginal Minton titles within the building. The famous fathers of the pottery industry; Josiah Wedgwood and Josiah Spode are both buried within the grave yard of Stoke Minster.

Stoke town centre is also known for its support of independent breweries and the recently opened Glebe pub alongside the White Star pride themselves on offering quality Real Ale and supporting local independent breweries such as Titanic Brewery.
